Daniel Miller

Daniel R. Miller, 79 of Germansville died Tuesday February 3, 2015 in his home. He was the husband of Barbara (Matsco) Miller; they celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary last March. Born in Altoona, he was the son of the late Elmer and Margaret (DeWitt) Miller. Daniel worked for Bell Telephone for 36 years retiring as a foreman. He was a 50year mason, and most recently a member of Slatington Lodge 440 F & AM. He was also a member of Heidelberg Fish & Game and the Ontelaunee Rod & Gun Club.
Survivors: Wife, Children; Kim and husband Oystein Knutsen of WA, Lisa and husband Jimmy Earl of NC, Daniel Miller and wife Linda of Palmerton, John Binder and wife Carol of Palmerton, Mark Binder and wife Karenof Jim Thorpe, Connie and husband Brian Lynn of Germansville. 9 Grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. Sister; Lynda Diacek of FL.
Service: 11am Friday February 6, 2015 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second Street, Slatington. Calling hour 10-11am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at St. Mark’s Cemetery, Allentown.
