Felicity Barnshaw 27 of Walnutport, PA peacefully went to heaven on August 20th 2017 in Brooklyn, NY.
Felicity was born May 16th 1990 in Wilmington DE. She is survived by her parents Amy and Steven Johannsmeier, her brother Justin Johannsmeier, sister Paige Johannsmeier, close cousins Jennifer Barnshaw, Laura Ratliff, grandparents Sharon and John Racine and her dearest friend Adam Flexer, as well as a huge circle of family and friends who love and miss her dearly and feel blessed to have her in their lives.
Felicity attended Northern Lehigh High School and spent her summers swimming for Northern Lehigh Lightning Swim Team. She volunteered with teaching elementary school children with reading during the summer reading program as well as assisting with swim lessons at Victory Park Pool.
Felicity was a strong and determined young lady with a kind, sweet and gentle soul that touched the hearts of many. She had a smile that lit up the room and a laugh that was contagious and unforgettable. Felicity was fun, loving and adventurous. She was a true angel who accepted everyone for who they were and always helped someone in need. She had a love and passion for animals that could not be denied.
Felicity loved spending time with family, friends and pets. Felicity loved to travel, her free spirit and passion to be free of life’s basic things sent her on a journey that has forever changed the lives of everyone she met. She has started a new journey now and so must we all with our memories and love for her tucked deeply into our hearts.
A memorial for Felicity will be held on September 2nd 2017 11am at Harding Funeral Home 25-27 North Second St Slatington, PA 18080 all are welcome to attend.
