Gregory Marlatt

Gregory R. Marlatt, 59, of Coplay, passed away November 18, 2020 unexpectedly in his home due to natural causes.  Gregory was born in Allentown on April 27, 1961 to the late Robert and Audrey (Kern) Marlatt. Gregory worked as a forklift driver and in the warehouse at NFI Industries.  Gregory can be most remembered for his infectious sense of humor, his ability to make anyone laugh, and his generous heart.  He enjoyed attending his nephew’s wrestling matches and niece’s softball games – no matter the distance.  He could always be found in the front row of every wrestling tournament, supporting everyone he knew.  In his spare time, he loved to watch football – especially his Vikings!  He will be deeply missed by his entire family and his many friends.  Survivors: brothers, Richard T. Marlatt, and his partner Georgine Jacobson of Auburn, Timothy S. Marlatt, and his partner Kymberly Murray of Whitehall, Robert J., and his wife Chris A. Marlatt of Slatington; sisters, Steffany A. Wechsler of Walnutport and Victoria M. Marlatt of Allentown; nieces and nephews. Services: A graveside service will be held at 1:30pm on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Union Cemetery, PA Rte 873, Slatington. Arrangements by Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Northern Lehigh HS wrestling or Northwestern Lehigh HS wrestling.
