John Ruch

John W. Ruch, 78 of Walnutport died Sunday October 27, 2013 in Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Dolores E. "Betty"쳌 (Fritz) Greene Ruch of Walnutport, and the late June G. Ruch. John served in the US Air Force for 15 years. He worked for the Lehigh Valley Post Office. He was a member of the Walnutport Fire House, and a former volunteer at the Schnecksville Fire Co.. John was a former active member of the Walnutport Playground Assoc., and a former Little League Baseball coach.

Survivors: Wife, Children; John, Mark, Melissa, and Sheila. Step-son; Harold Greene. Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren. Brothers; George, James, and Robert Ruch. Sisters; Edith Hofacker, Emma Nothstein. He was pre-deceased by a son Steve Ruch.

Services: 11AM Wednesday October 30, 2013 Harding Funeral Home, Inc. 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington. Calling hour 10-11AM at the funeral home. Interment with Military Honors to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
