June Ellen Kinek (Knappenberger), died in her home, Christmas Night 2021.  She was 79 yrs. old. She was the wife of Ronald J. Kinek of Whitehall. Along with her Husband, she is survived by her daughter, Lynn June Altrichter, of North Catasauqua, Pa.  Formerly of Slatington, June was born in Treichlers Pa. on June 26, 1942.  In a long line of Knappenbergers', she was the last surviving child born of Albert F. Her family meant everything to her, and she also leaves behind SO MANY who knew and loved her, space will not permit detail.  Nicholas Kinek, his wife Kim, their children,” Nico" and Cole, Jenny (Kinek) Davis and her husband Brian and their children, Emma and Ben, brought much joy to her life!  She cherished ALL her niece's and nephew's and relished the role of "Aunt June".  She has long been a treasured friend and member of the Altrichter family as well.

It was said of Ginger Rogers:   "She did all that Fred Astaire did, Just Backwards in High Heels....."
