Marie Jones

Marie A. Jones, 73, of Northampton, formerly Slatington, passed away May 16, 2014 in her home. She was the wife of the late Donald P. Jones. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late William B. & Ruth G. (Straup) Schwartz. Marie was a teacher for the Northern Lehigh School District at Peters Elementary School. She was a member of St. Paul's UCC, Northampton, and was active with their choir. Marie was also the former organist for Trinity UCC in Coplay, and St. John's UCC, Slatington.

Survivors: Brothers; Thomas W. Schwartz and wife Bonnie of Northampton, Jerry D. Schwartz and wife Michelle of Easton, Curtis C. Schwartz and wife Nancy of Schnecksville. Sisters; Jane L. wife of Robin Silfies of Cherryville, Patricia wife of David Bollinger of Schnecksville. Nieces & Nephews

Services. 11AM Thursday May 22, 2014 at St. Paul's UCC, 105 E. 19th St, Northampton PA. Calling hour 6-8PM Wednesday May 21 At Harding Funeral Home, and 10-11 Thurs at the church. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Slatington.
