Marvin Fronheiser

Marvin L. Fronheiser, 84 of Silver Spring, MD formerly of Walnutport, and Lehighton died Friday October 31, 2014. He was the husband of the late Margaret L. Fronheiser. Born in Lehighton, he was the son of the late Elmer L. and Amy E. (Bryfogle) Fronheiser. Marvin was employed at Bryfogle’s in Slatington as a bookkeeper. When ownership changed and became Rentschler’s, he served as parts manager. Marvin was US Air force veteran, serving in the Korean War.
Survivors: Daughter; Sharon and husband Dr. Marc Star of Silver Spring. MD. Sister in laws; Ruth and husband Ronald Rehrig of Allentown, Eileen Smith of Palmerton, and Patricia Schappell of Lehighton. 2 “grandcats” Nieces & Nephews. He was pre-deceased by a sister Shirley Hanahan.
Services: 11AM Saturday November 8, 2014 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington. Calling hour 10-11am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Indianland Cemetery, Cherryville. Contributions: Can be made in Marvin’s memory to the ASPCA 424 E. 92nd St, New York NY 10128
