Pearl Berger

Pearl A. Berger, 100, a resident of Gracedale died Sunday March 19 in the presence of her family. She was the wife of the late Alvin Berger, who died in 1964, and companion of the late Marcus Yenser. Born in Walnutport, she was the daughter of the late David and Annie (Sofranko) Moyer, and granddaughter to Paul Moyer, a civil war veteran. We were all blessed with her generous gifts of compassion, forgiveness, and love and she will be missed by all.
Survivors: Children; Edwin L., & Thomas S. Berger. Pearl A. Borger, Dorothy Nierer, & Anna May. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by children Paul, and Mary and siblings Steven, Paul and Daniel.
Services: 11am Wednesday March 22, 2017 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington PA. calling hour10-11 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, can be made to the funeral home to help defray costs.
