Rollin Schew

Rollin C. Schew, 80, of Slatington passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021, in his home.  He was the husband of Linda D. (Mase) Schew, whom he married on January 10, 1970.  Born in Fountain Hill on February 23, 1941, he was the son of the late Willis L. and Bernice (Weaver) Schew.  Ron retired from Rentschler’s car dealership in Slatington, where he worked as service manager.  Prior to that, he worked for Faulkner’s and City Motors, both of Bethlehem.   Ron was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed wood carving.   He was involved with Boy Scout Troop #329 and was a member of the Crossroads Hotel softball team.
In addition to his wife Linda, he is survived by sons: William Schew and wife Kathryn of Downingtown, Chris Schew of Schuylkill Haven, Terry Schew of Bethlehem; daughters: Darlene and husband Leonard Snell, Robin and husband Thomas Lee, both of New Hampshire, Laurie Weaver-Diehl and husband Richard Diehl of Slatington, Rachel Schew and husband Christopher Bellas of Schwenksville, Angela and husband Todd Leibenguth of Bath; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.  Ron was predeceased by a daughter Ronda Toth, and a grandchild.
Funeral services will be private, at the convenience of the family.   Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
