Ronald Kroboth

Ronald J. "Crow"쳌 Kroboth, 71 of Walnutport died Thursday February 6, 2014 in his home. He was the husband of Beverly A. (Shuey) Kroboth; they celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary this past December. Born in Walnutport, he was the son of the late John and Irene (Schneck) Kroboth. He was a US Army veteran serving in Vietnam. Ronald worked as a forklift operator for the American Nickeloid in Walnutport for 32 years before retiring in 2004. He was a member of the Allen O'Delke American Legion Post 16,Slatington, the Diamond Fire Co., Oplinger Hower American Legion Lehihg Twsp., the VFW in Egypt, and the Slatington Skeet Club. He enjoyed custom car upholstering, and volunteered with the Slatington Lions Club. He was a member of St. John's UCC, Slatington.

Survivors: Wife, Sons; Scott D. Kroboth and wife Carlie and their children Nathan, & Aiden of Nazareth, Michael L. Kroboth and wife Jennifer of Northampton. Daughter Patricia and husband Ricky Smith of Walnutport.. 2 Grandsons; Brandon and Carter Smith. Brothers; Harold and Robert Kroboth. Sister; Barbara Hausman. He was pre-deceased by a sister Joyce Hess.

Services: 11AM Monday February 10, 2014 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington PA. Calling hour 10-11 at the funeral home.
