William Koran

William Koran 95 formerly of Walnutport died Wednesday June 22, 2016 at At Home Hospice Care, Schnecksville. He was the husband of the late Alice (Marzinsky ) Koran who passed away in 2011. Born in Walnutport, he was the son of the late Jacob and Mary (Lapota) Koran.
He served his country honorably in the US Army during WWII, and earned 4 Bronze Stars and the WWII victory medal. Bill was self employed as the owner/operator of Koran’s Custom Kitchens, of Walnutport. Bill was a member of the Slatington Skeet Club, he enjoyed bowling, golfing and was a former member of Mahoning Valley Country Club, Lehighton.

Services: 11 am Saturday June 25, 2016 at the Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington, PA. Calling hour 10-11am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery, Slatington.
