Ann Szapacs

Ann E. Szapacs, 96 formerly of Slatington died Monday March 30, 2015 at Slate Belt Nursing & Rehab Center, Bangor. She was the wife of the late Joseph Szapacs. Born in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Annie (Tyrer) Jones. She owned/operated her own beauty shop for many years. Ann was a former member of Bethel UCC, Slatington, where she was president of women’s fellowship, and a member of the church choir. She was also a member of troop 66 ladies auxiliary, and a 50 year member of Gymanfa Ganu.
Survivors: Sons; Joseph Szapacs and wife Patricia of Slatington, Ronald Szapacs and wife Lois of Slatington. Daughter; Janice and husband Karl Stackhouse of Nazareth. 7 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Nieces & Nephews
Services: 11am Friday April 3, 2015 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second Street, Slatington PA. Calling hour 10-11am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Slatington.
