Anna K. Davis

Anna K. Davis, 100, formerly of Slatington and widow of the late Donald “Dip” Davis, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023, at Complete Care in Macungie.   Born in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Leah (Brobst) Davis.   She and her husband were the owners of the Davis News Agency and the Davis Coal and Hauling business.    She was also employed in the cafeteria of the Northern Lehigh Elementary School.   Anna was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Slatington.

She is survived by a daughter: Linda Humanick of Slatington; son: Larry Davis of Slatington; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; three step grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son, Richard “Ricky” Davis, son-in-law, Rodney Humanick, and daughter-in-law, Cindy Davis.

Private family services will be held.  Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
