Anna M. Smith
Anna M. Smith, 87, of Slatington, passed away June 29, 2010, in Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton. She was wife of the late Charles H. Smith. Born in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late William K. & Catherine (Jones) Edwards. Anna worked for Robbie Sue Mfg & Gloria Mfg. both in Slatington for many years.
Survivors: Son, Charles L. Smith of Hummelstown, daughter, Cheryl Anne & husband Terry Blose of Slatington, six grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sisters, Grace Fye of Walnutport, Florence & husband Walter Remaley of Slatington and Mary Ellen Edwards of Walnutport, nieces & nephews. Anna was predeceased by her daughter, Sandra Newhart in 1985, brothers, Bernard & Wiley Edwards, sisters, Nancy Edwards & Helen Rehrig.
Services: Private. Arrangements: Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. 2nd St., Slatington.
