Arlene Zeiser

Arlene E. Zeiser, 90 of Slatington died Thursday October 3, 2013 in her home. She was the wife of Philip L. Zeiser; they celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary last April. Born in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late Hobart S. and Martha (Muthard) Reph. Arlene was an active member of Assumption BVM Church, Slatington, and a member of Slatington Senior Citizens, and AARP. She was also a volunteer for the Walnutport Canal Association and the Emerald Fire Co.

Survivors: Husband, Sons; Philip L. Zeiser Jr. and wife Susan, Thomas Zeiser and wife Diane both of Friedens. Daughter; Anne and husband Ray Oswald of Laplume PA. Grandchildren; Christine Lehman, Todd Masiar, Thomas and Amy Zeiser, Jill Zeiser, Ethan and Emma Oswald. Great Grandchidlren; Nicholas, Benjamin, and Zachary Lehman, and Cole Zeiser. Sister; Shirley Graver. She was pre-deceased by a daughter Janet Masiar, and siblings Hobart Jr., Ray, Pauline, Betty, and Mae

Services: Memorial Mass will be 11AM Monday October 7, 2013 Assumption BVM, 649 W. Washington St, Slatington. Calling hour 10-11 AM at the church.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, can be made to Allentown Rescue Mission or the Humane Society.
