Palmerton
Barry L. Mills, 80, of the Palmer House, Palmerton, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus. Born in Allentown on July 10, 1945, he was the son of the late Elvin Mills and Ruth (Distler) Boyer. Barry was the owner / operator of Barry Mills Painting, and a member of a local paint union. A loving & caring brother and friend, he was always willing to help anyone he could. He will be truly missed and remembered always.
Barry is survived by a daughter Sherry Vargson; 3 grandchildren, Jacob, Geno & Jaime; siblings, Robert Mills of NY, Paul Mills on TN, Linda Greene of GA, Sandra Wanamaker of DE; and many nieces & nephews.
Services will be private, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
