Caroline Wagner

Caroline L. Wagner, 97, of Walnutport, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 in her home.   She was the wife of the late Wayne W. Wagner.  Born in Slatington, she was the daughter of the Benjamin and Mamie (Schleicher) Hess.
She is survived by a daughter: Barbara Hansell of Walnutport; son: Gerald Wagner and wife Rachel of Prompton; 3 Grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; Sister: Rhoda Burckhart.   She was pre-deceased by brothers Edgar Benjamin, Raymond and Francis Hess.
A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Union Cemetery, PA Rte 873, Slatington.   No calling hours.   Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Bible Society, 101 North Independence Mall East FL8, Philadelphia, PA 19106-2155
