Charles Bachman

Charles R. Bachman, 61 of Slatington died Friday March 1, 2013 at the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Dawn L. ( Holko ) Bachman, they celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary last July. Born in Slatngton, he was the son of the late Correll H. and Arlene J. (Rauch) Bachman. Charles worked for the former Bethlehem Steel, the American Nickeloid, and as a farmer. He was a member of Heidelberg UCC, Slatington.

Survivors: Wife; Daughters; Brandy Wieser of Slatington, Nicole Wade of Kentucky, and Amber Bachman of Slatington. Grandchildren; Mason, Drayden, Reagan, and Camden. Brothers;Richard Bachman and wife Jean, LeRoy Bachman and wife Michelle, Kermit Bachman and wife Joan. Sisters; Sally and husband Thomas Hoffner, and Nancy Bachman. Sister-in-law; Ginger Bachman. Charles was pre-deceased by a brother Roger L. Bachman.

Services: 11 AM Wednesday March 6, Heidelberg United Church of Christ, 5187 Irvin Rd, Slatington. Calling hours 7-8:30 PM Tuesday March 5 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington and 10-11AM Wednesday at the church. Interment to follow at Heidelberg Union Cemetery.
