Cynthia Bowlby

Cynthia R. Bowlby, age 67, peacefully passed away on January 15, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was a lifelong nurse in the area, serving at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, in the 1980's and then finishing her career as an allergist's nurse in Bethlehem. Cindy was incredibly dedicated to her faith and St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Allentown where she found her passion in serving the homeless. She tirelessly led a shelter every Friday night at the church for several years during the cold of winter. She is survived by her sister Audrey LeVan and brother in law, Gary of Slatington; niece, Audra Churetta of Bethlehem; nephew, Daniel LeVan of New Tripoli; grandnephews and a grandniece.

A memorial service will be held in the spring and will be private to immediate friends and family.
