Delbert Hahn

Delbert H. “Del” Hahn, 81, of Walnutport, passed away Friday November 20, 2015 at his residence. He was the husband of Nancy M. (Peters) Hahn; they celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary last December. Born in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Harvey and Elsie (Gower) Hahn. He most recently worked as a tractor trailer driver for Carbon Air. Prior to that, Del briefly worked at Bethlehem Steel. Del was best known for his pink 7/7 that he raced at Dorney Park, Mahoning Valley, Nazareth Speedway, and Evergreen Racetrack. Survivors: Wife, Son; Chris Hahn and wife Holly of Palmerton. Daughters; Tammy and husband Karl Landon of Wind Gap and Juanita of Walnutport. Grandson; Cory Zellner. Sister; Betty and husband Barry Costenbader. Del was predeceased by his son, Del Hahn, sister Joanne Shelly, and brother Clark Hahn. Services: 6 p.m. Wednesday November, 25 at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington.
