Delores Serfass

Delores E. Serfass, 69, of Walnutport, died March 25, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hopital, Muhlenberg Campus. Born in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late Jacob F. Sr. and Sallie E. (Bollinger) Serfass. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Moravian College. She worked in communications, most recently for T-Mobile. In previous years she worked in the financial field, spending most of those years at Chrysler First. Delores was formerly active at the Calvary Temple in Allentown where she was involved in the choir and the Allentown Christian School.
Survivors: Sisters: Elizabeth E. Trexler of Allentown, Emma E. Fink of Lehighton, Wilma A. Mohr of Kempton, Ruth A., wife of Carl. A. Hausman of Walnutport. Brothers: Walter S. Serfass of Bowmanstown, Albert A. Serfass and spouse Donna E. Serfass of Palmerton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by siblings Pauline I. Serfass and Jacob F. Serfass, Jr.
Services: Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Inc., 25-27 N. Second Street, Slatington.
