Dolores “Betty” E. Ruch

Dolores E. “Betty” Ruch, 92, of Walnutport, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024, in her home.    She was the wife of the late John Ruch, Harold Greene and Joe Pachorkowsky.   Born in Palmerton on October 29, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Clyde F. and Katherine (Kutzer) Fritz.   Betty worked as a seamstress for various local garment factories.   She was a lifetime member of the Diamond Fire Co., Walnutport.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son: Harold C. Greene and wife Sandy of Walnutport, grandchildren: Bryce and fiance Taylor, Dustin and fiance Alexis, Joe and wife Mary, Jessica and husband Alex; great-grandchildren: Kolton, Bryce, Isabel, Gisele.   She was pre-deceased by children, Joe Pachorkowsky, Iris Wentz, David Pachorkowsky and siblings, Robert Fritz, Evelyn Bakun.

A funeral service will be held at 7:30PM on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington.  Family and friends may pay their respects from 6 to 7:30PM.    Interment will be private.    In lieu of flowers, contributions in Betty’s name can be made to Furry Feet Rescue, 771 S. Cottonwood Rd, Walnutport PA 18088.
