Doris E. Jordan, 92, formerly of Walnutport, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Liza’s House, Danielsville. She was the wife of Andrew Jordan, who passed away in 1987. Born in Walnutport on March 29, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Alverta (Andrews) Reinheimer. Doris enjoyed being in nature. She especially liked gardening and other outdoor work. When not outdoors, she could be found with a pen in hand, tackling a crossword puzzle or word search.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Marie and husband Richard Tulio of Walnutport; son: Anthony Jordan and fiancé Pat Gruver of Walnutport; grandsons: Anthony Tulio of Coopersburg, Andrew Tulio and wife Karen of Perkasie; great-granddaughter: Jordan Tulio; brothers: William Reinheimer and wife Sandy of Walnutport, Paul Reinheimer and wife Patricia of Allentown; nieces & nephews. She was pre-deceased by siblings, George Reinheimer, Jean Wasilkowski & Mae Pritchard.

A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second Street, Slatington, PA. Family and friends may pay their respects from 10 to 11AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Indianland Cemetery, Walnutport. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Liza’s House, 1357 Blue Mountain Drive, Danielsville, PA 18038.
