Doris M. Whitney

Doris M, Whitney, 103, formerly of Walnutport and Long Island, NY, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, at Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown.    She was the wife of the late Richard H. Whitney.   Born in Canajoharie, NY, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Lois (Patten) Dunckel.   Doris worked as an elementary school teacher in Long Island, NY, for many years.   She was a former member of Salem United Methodist Church, Danielsville.  

Doris will be lovingly remembered by a daughter, Virginia Haden and son, Richard Whitney and wife Eileen, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
