Drew M. Roderick

Drew M. Roderick, 42, of Sellersville, formerly of Slatington, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026. He was the husband of Sara E. White, whom he married on September 13, 2024.  Born in Allentown on December 22, 1983, he was the son of Donna L. (Voorhees) Roderick of Slatington and the late Jack M. Roderick. Drew was a graduate of Northern Lehigh High School, Class of 2002.  He continued his education at West Chester University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. Drew began his career working for Tree-EX. Most recently, he worked as a rock fall mitigation expert for GSI.  Throughout the years, he also worked alongside and for his brother’s business, Josh’s Nursery & Landscaping.  Drew had a deep love for the outdoors and nature and especially enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the many different types of trees and rocks. He loved clamming and always looked forward to his yearly trip to Indian River State Park in Delaware.

In addition to his wife Sara, and mother Donna, Drew is survived by brothers, Josh Roderick and wife Kathy of Jim Thorpe, Aaron Roderick of Bethlehem, Step-sons, George & Noah White; grandparents, Gerald & Ruberta Voorhees; uncle, Jody Voorhees; mother-in-law, Linda Schuler; beloved family dog, Lucy.

A graveside service will be held at 12noon on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Union Cemetery Slatington (up top on the hill), PA Rte 873. Immediately following, all are invited to a continued celebration of life at Faith Alive United Methodist Church, 678 Pine St, Palmerton, PA.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Drew’s memory can be made to the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention, Eastern PA Chapter, c/o the funeral home. Harding Funeral Home of Slatington, is honored to handle Drew’s services.
