Edgar J. Handwerk, Jr.



Edgar J. Handwerk, Jr., 87, of Slatington, passed away November 1, 2012, in Liberty Nursing Home, Allentown. Born in Slatington, he was the son of the late Edgar J. Sr. and Eva (Serfass) Handwerk. He worked on the assembly line at Mack Trucks for 35 years. Edgar was a WWII Navy Veteran serving aboard the Battleship Omaha. He was a member of the Allen O. Delke American Legion Post 16 in Slatington.

Services: 2:00pm, November 5, 2012 at. Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington. Calling hour- 1-2:00pm at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Ebenezer Union Cemetery, New Tripoli, PA.
