Edwin L Hunsberger Jr., 73 of Walnutport died Tuesday November 19, 2013 in his home. He was the husband of the late Deb E. Hunsberger, who died September 17, 2013. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Edwin L. Sr., and Mary (Picchio) Hunsberger. Edwin retired from Henry's service station in Danielsville working as a mechanic. Prior to that, he worked for the former Robbin Concrete in Catasauqua. He raced cars at Dorney Park and Mahoning Valley Speedway for 25 years. He was also an avid bowler, bowling in various leagues at Jordan Lanes.

Survivors: Daughters; Terri and husband Thomas Karmonick of Walnutport, Tracy and husband Ed Yost of Coplay. Sons; Tim Hunsberger and wife Vicky, and Mykel Bauman both of Walnutport. Kenneth Dunbar and wife Lisa of Cherryville. Grandchildren; Tania, Tifani, Joshua, Jacob, and Jared. Great Grandchildren; Memphys, Bladen, and Kaleb. Brother; Joseph Hunsberger and wife Hilda of Coplay. Sisters; Cathryn and husband Herbert Palmieri of NY, Marie and husband Richard Keller of Catasauqua, and Patricia and husband Clinton Hartranft of Laurys Station. Edwin was pre-deceased by a sister Shirley Krempasky, a brother Ronald Hunsberger, and a daughter Tami Green wife of Mitch Green of Walnutport.

Services: Calling period 5-7PM Sunday November 24, 2013 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
