Elsie Roeder

Elsie M. "Lisa"쳌 Roeder, 100, formerly of Queens, NY, passed away at Liza's House in Danielsville, PA on October 8, 2013. She was the widow of Charles J. Roeder. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Otto Bottcher and Dorothea (Wuppesahl) Irmscher. Elsie worked as a Comptometer operator for the former Continental Insurance Company in New York City. She also was a 22 year volunteer at the Ridgewood Senior Center in New York.

Survivors: Son, George C. & wife Patricia Roeder of Danielsville, daughter, JoAnn M. Williams of Myrtle Beach, SC, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, sister, Marion DeVroedt of Florida.

Services: 12:30pm, Monday, October 14, 2013 at Harding Funeral 25-27 N. 2nd St., Slatington, PA. Calling 11-12:30pm at the funeral home.

Interment: Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 11:00am, at Lutheran All Faiths Cemetery, 6729 Metropolitan Ave, Middle Village, NY.
