Evelyn Edwards

Evelyn M. Edwards, 98 formerly of Slatington died Saturday January 18, 2014 in the Summit Nursing Home, Lehighton. She was the wife of the late David Edwards. Born in Mahanoy City, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine (Kates) Becker. Evelyn worked at various mills throughout the area before retiring. She was a member of St. John's UCC, Slatington.

Survivors: Daughter; Gail Wehr of Slatington. Grandchildren; Marcy Espino, and Gavin Wehr. Great Grandson Ian Espino. Sister; Vivian Andreas.

Services: Will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington
