Evyn N. Hummel

Evyn N. Hummel, 26, of Slatington, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023, as a result of a motorcycle accident.    Born in Allentown on October 19, 1996, he was the son of Shane Hummel of Slatington and Lisa (Donschietz) Hummel of Abbottstown.    Evyn was a graduate of Northern Lehigh High School.     He worked for Dirt Work Solutions, and previously for Core Construction.

Evyn is survived by his mother: Lisa Hummel and companion Jason McNally; father: Shane Hummel and companion Carol Williams; girlfriend: Tye Goodyear; brothers: Ethan Hummel, Jason McNally, Jr.; sister: Bella McNally; maternal grandparents: Thomas and Angela Donscheitz; paternal grandparents: Howard Hummel, Sherrie Hummel.

A funeral service will be held at 4PM on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second Street, Slatington.  Family and and friends may pay their respects from 2 to 4PM at the funeral home.   Immediately following the service, a continued celebration of life will be held at Dirt Work Solutions, 3755 Main Street, Slatington PA.
