Fianna S. Christman

Fianna S. Christman, 77, of Lehighton, formerly of Slatington, passed away peacefully on Saturday November 22, 2025. Born in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Francis P. and Alma M. (Roth) Semmel. She married Ray G. Christman on November 9, 1968; they just celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary.

Fianna worked for Kern’s Furniture, Holiday Fashions Textiles, Orkin Steel and then for ODL before retiring. She was a life member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Slatington, where she played hand chimes, was a member of the Altar Guild, and President of the Second Chance Shoppe. Her hobbies were sewing, gardening, cooking, baking, helping family/friends and watching her grand dog, Maisey.

Fianna will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Ray; son, Ryan Christman and wife, Jennifer of Lehighton; daughter, Megan Christman of Schnecksville; sisters, Janice Lentz of Schnecksville, and Lydia, wife of Ray Weaver of Emmaus.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. 2nd St., Slatington, PA 18080. A visitation will take place at the funeral home one hour prior to the service, from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will follow services at Slatedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Fianna’s honor to St. John’s Lutheran Church and mailed to 40 2nd St, Slatington, PA 18080.
