Florence E. Remaley

Florence E. Remaley, 94, formerly of Slatington, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022, at Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehab Center, Lehighton.  She was the wife of the late Walter H. Remaley, who passed away in 2017.   Born in Slatington on November 9, 1927, she was the daughter of the late William and Catherine (Jones) Edwards.  Florence worked at various local garment mills for over 40 years before retiring.  
Florence is survived by a son: Keith Remaley of Slatington; daughters: Donna and husband Hobert Reph of Danielsville, Pamela and husband Russell Pierce of Palmerton; 17 Grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.  She was pre-deceased by children, Lori Brandon and Walter H. Remaley, Jr, and a grandson Mathew Brandon.
A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Friday, March 18, 2022, at Fairview Cemetery, Slatington.  No calling hours.   Arrangements are under the care of Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
