Franklin Lichtenwalner

Franklin G. Lichtenwalner, 77 of Slatington died Wednesday December 10, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Carol (Nierer) Lichtenwalner; they celebrated 54th wedding anniversary this past August. Born in Limeport, he was the son of the late George P. and Estella (Hildebeitel) Lichtenwalner. Frank worked as a mail clerk for Guardian Life Insurance of Allentown. Prior to that, he worked for Toys R’Us in Allentown, and was also a truck driver for TRL Securities. He was a member of Valley View Baptist Church, Northampton.
Survivors: Wife, Son; Stephen J. Lichtenwalner and wife Robin of Slatington. Daughter; Melissa and husband Scott Fritz of Northampton. 4 Grandchildren. 1 Great Grandson. Brothers; Matthew Lichtenwalner and wife Christine of Walnutport, Allen Lichtenwalner and wife Robin of Germansville. Sisters; Linda Lichtenwalner Beatrice Batz both of Slatedale.
Services: 11am Monday December 15, 2014 at Valley View Baptist Church, 2870 Pheasant Dr, Northampton PA 18067.
Calling hour 10-11am at the church. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Slatington.
