Geraldine A. Boyer

Geraldine A. Boyer, 79, of Slatedale, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026, in her home. She was the wife of the late Kenneth W. Boyer, who passed away in 2022.  Born on November 1, 1946, in Germansville, she was the daughter of the late James and Elda (Zellner) Mack. Geraldine was a graduate of Slatington High School, Class of 1964.  She worked for many years as a sewing machine operator for various mills throughout Slatington and Slatedale. Most recently, she worked for Lutron on the assembly line.  She was a member of Good Shepherd UCC, Slatington, and a former member of the Slatedale Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Dale Boyer and wife Tanya of Coplay, Dennis Boyer of Slatedale; grandchildren, Brady & Brock; sister, Ellen Biegly, brother, Karl Mack and companion Jen Zeiber, and also nieces & nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Slatedale Cemetery, 8648 Brown St, Slatington. No calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to either Good Shepherd UCC, 3940 Mountain Rd Slatington PA 18080, or Slatedale Fire Co, 3922 Main Street, Slatedale PA 18079.
