Harold "Skip"쳌 Rehrig, 94, passed away March 25, 2010, in Liza's House, Danielsville. He was the husband of the Late Viola T. (Galio) Rehrig. Born in Walnutport, he was the son of the late William & Jenny (Kern) Rehrig. Skip worked as a chemistry teacher for 25 years in Hillside, NJ. He was the founder of the VFW in Walnutport, a member of the Diamond Fire Co., Slatington Moose, Vigilant Fire Co. and a past member of the Slatington Rotary Club. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Pacific and was honorably discharged at rank of sergeant.

Survivors: Son, Ronald Rehrig of Flemington, NJ and sister, Luella Wasilousky.

Services: Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 2:00pm, Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington. Calling 1:30-2:00 at the funeral home.
