Heather Kimak

Heather L. Kimak, 65, of Slatington, passed away unexpectedly due to a heart attack June 7, 2012 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Salisbury Twp. Born in Rahway, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William V. & Clarissa C. (Ferdon) Strickland. Heather most recently worked for the Hotel Bethlehem in the gift shop. She loved gardening, baking from scratch, watching birds and volunteering at Hawk Mountain. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren.

Survivors: Son, Alex Kowalcyk & his fiancée Laura Parker of Easton, daughters, Maya Kowalcyk of Jim Thorpe and Clarissa Kimak of Slatington, grandson, Patrick R. Byrne.

Memorial Service: 7:00pm, Monday, June 18, 2012 at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington, PA. Calling hour, Monday, 6-7:00pm at the funeral home.
