Hugh Scott

Hugh G. Scott, 67, of Slatington, died on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 after a brief illness. Born in Slatington, he was the son of the late Joseph G. & Mary C. Scott. Hugh worked in the textile industry at Stanwood Mills, Slatington. He was a member of Assumption BVM Church, Slatington.

Survivors: Hugh is survived by sisters, Ann Marie Scott, Margaret (Howard) Jessup, Patricia (Larry) Turoscy and Sheila (Barrie) Perilla, brothers, Thomas Scott, James (Sandra) Scott, Michael (Jane) Scott and Christopher Scott, 9 nieces and nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews. Hugh was predeceased by sister, Monica Scott.

Services: A calling hour for family and friends on Monday, January 20, 2014 from 10-11:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the church at 11:00am. Assumption BVM, 633 W. Washington St., Slatington. Interment following the service. Arrangements Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the church.
