J. Timothy Jones

J. Timothy Jones, 68, of Slatington, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024. Born in Palmerton on November 24, 1955, to the late James and Marion (LaBold) Jones, Tim was a proud graduate of Slatington High School, Class of 1973, and dedicated 45 years to Lighting Fixture Supply & Colonial Electric.

Tim's love for sports, especially the Yankees baseball and Penn State football, was well known. Not only did he love cheering for his teams he also enjoyed attending the sporting events of youth athletes in the family. Tim was also known for working around the house and offering his "handyman" services to friends and family.

Tim will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his sons, Jasen Jones, Joshua Jones and wife Tara, daughter Jessica Jones, six grandchildren, Kambrae-Alexes, Alisha, Ashtin, Alivia, Paisley Jones, and Brylee Herman, three great-grandchildren, sisters Kimberly (Jones) Hankee and husband Jack, Gwyneth Jones, nieces Jennifer (King) Ortiz and husband Junior and their children, and Lacey (Neff) Keller and husband Scott and their children.

Private family services will be held, and in lieu of flowers, donations are kindly requested to Lehigh Valley Hospice, c/o Lehigh Valley Hospital, 2024 Lehigh Street, Allentown, PA 18103. Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
