James Blewitt, Jr

James E. Blewitt, Jr. 64 of Germansville died Sunday December 18, 2016 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Marie (Hoppes) Anderson, who died in 2009. Born in Hazleton, he was the son of James E. Blewitt, Sr. of Germansville and the late Edna A. (Steward) Blewitt. Jim worked as a truck driver for George Husack Trucking. Prior to that, he worked in the family business, Fuel Injector Sales & Service of Allentown. An auto enthusiast, Jim was a member of numerous car clubs throughout the area.
Survivors: Father, Son; James E. Blewitt, III of Allentown. Brother; Richard A. Blewitt and wife Laurie of Germansville. 3 nephews.
Services: Calling period Thursday December 22, 2016, 5-7pm at Harding Funeral Home, Slatington. Service will be private, at convenience of the family.
