Joyce Hess

Joyce H. Hess, 68 of Slatington died Monday September 2, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was wife of Edgar C. Hess; they celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary last March. Born in Walnutport, she was the daughter of the late John and Irene (Mickley) Kroboth. Joyce was a member of St. John's UCC, Slatington.

Survivors: Husband, Sons; Roger Hess, Richard Hess both of Nazareth, Todd Hess and wife Nancy of Germansville. Daughter Sheree and husband Christian Gruber of Lehighton. 5 Grandchildren. Brothers; Harold Kroboth and wife Kathy, Ronald Kroboth and wife Beverly, and Robert Kroboth and wife Patricia. Sister; Barbara Hausman.

Services: 10:30AM Saturday September 7, 2013 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington. Calling hour 9:30-10:30AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery, Slatington.
