Joyce I. House

Joyce Isabella House began life on earth February 11, 1934.  She grew up in Slatington, PA and was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Rohlfing) and Lawrence C. Hallman.   She entered into eternal rest December 9, 2023.

She was the wife of the late Richard W. House, they were married for 56 years.   Joyce enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom and eventually entered the workforce as a sewing machine operator for Deicher's in Kutztown and John Rem's in Macungie for over 16 years.

Joyce's favorite passion in life was spending quality time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, every holiday and every opportunity that presented itself.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children; son: Joe House; daughters: SueAnn Loch, and Rilinda and husband Eric Busse; 6 grandchildren: Korey Kostic, Mandy Rex, Sean House, Scott House, Tasha Loch, Brandon Loch, and also 11 great-grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her son, Larry House and his wife Lisa House, and siblings, William Hallman, Faye Kleintop.
