Joyce Smith

Joyce E. Smith, 91 of Slatington died Monday December 28, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Loring W. Smith, who died in 1987. Born in Slatington, she was the daughter of the Clarence “Punch” and Goldie (Paules) Christman. Joyce worked for the former Paris Neckwear before retiring. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Slatington, a member of the Jubilees and volunteered at the Second Chance Shop in Slatington.

Survivors: Sons; Larry W. Smith of New Tripoli, Ray L. Smith of Danielsville. Grandchildren; Tina, Larry Jr., Sandra, Jennifer, and Krista. 6 Great Grandchildren. 1 Great Great Grandson, and 1 Great Great Granddaughter on the way. Sisters; Linda Wieand of Bethlehem, Gloria Martin of Slatington, and Judy Stevens of CA. Nieces & Nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son Dale Smith, brothers; Robert and James Flexer, and a sister Joan Kroboth.

Memorial Services: 11:00am Saturday January 2, 2016 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington. Calling hour 10-11am at the funeral home.
