Kenneth W. Boyer

Kenneth W. Boyer, 76, of Slatedale, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.   He was the husband of Geraldine A. (Mack) Boyer, whom he married on September 21, 1968.  Born in New Tripoli on June 17, 1946, he was the oldest child of the late Kenneth H. and Emma (Fritzinger) Boyer.  Kenneth worked at Mack Trucks on the assembly line for 23 years.   He was a member and former president of the Citizens Fire Co, Slatedale, former captain of the Slatedale Fire Police and member of Good Shepherd UCC, Slatington.
In addition to his wife Geraldine, he is survived by sons: Dale Boyer and wife Tanya of Coplay, Dennis Boyer of Slatedale; grandchildren: Brady & Brock Boyer; sister: Cindy Fedder of Lehighton; nieces & nephews.   He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Boyer.
A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Slatedale Cemetery, Brown Street, Slatedale.   No calling hours.   Arrangements are in the care of Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.   In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to either Good Shepherd UCC, or Citizens Fire Co., both c/o the funeral home.
