Lee C. Arndt

Lee C. Arndt, 80, of Bowmanstown, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of the late Lynne (Klingborg) Arndt, who passed away in 2008. Born in New Tripoli on August 12, 1945, he was the son of the late Paul and LaRue (Folweiller) Arndt. Lee was a proud US Navy veteran, who served during the Vietnam War. Lee worked as a filler / tester for Wilson Products in Easton before retiring in 2015. Prior to that, he worked for Cross Country Clothes in Egypt. Lee was active with the Bowmanstown Baseball Assoc, a member of the Bowmanstown Hotel Dart “B” Team, as well as a member of the Walnutport VFW Post 7215.

Lee will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Joleene, wife of Jack Waddell of Schnecksville; son: Jared Arndt of Bowmanstown; grandson: Anthony Evangelist; sisters: Betty Kistler, Anna Bauer; sister-in-law: Lisa, wife of Steve Martinez; niece: Ashley Bauer, nephews: Brett & Ryan Martinez.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 10 to 11AM on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. 2nd Street, Slatington. A graveside service with military honors will immediately follow at Ebenezer Union Cemetery, New Tripoli. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lee’s name can be made to the Walnutport VFW Post 7215, 208 Cherry Street, Walnutport, PA 18088.
