Lee D. Vogel

Lee D. Vogel, 70, of Slatington passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 17, 2025, in his home. Born in Allentown on July 31, 1955, he was the son of Mae (Mack) Vogel of Lehighton and the late Roy Vogel. Lee worked for the USPS as a letter carrier for many years and retired in 2023. Lee was active with the Slatington Moose Lodge, active treasurer of the Slatington Fireman’s Relief, a member of the Slatington Lions Club and also a member of the Slatington Fire Department Hose Co. #1.

In addition to his mother Mae, he is survived by a daughter:  Amanda and husband Charles Maurer; son, Adam Vogel and companion Valerie Cestaro; grandchildren; Charles Maurer and Mackenna Maurer; brother: Wayne Vogel and wife Mary Jane of Lehighton.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Union Cemetery, PA Rte 873, Slatington. No calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Slatington Lions Club, PO Box 196, Slatington PA. Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
