Lenore Ruopp

Lenore A. Ruopp, 85, formerly of Walnutport, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Above and Beyond Personal Care, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Ruopp, who passed away in 1987. Born in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Howard L. and Luella (Wert) Althouse. Lenore worked as a purchasing agent/supervisor for 18 years at Applied Seperations of Allentown, prior to that she worked for Lucent Technologies in Allentown before retiring. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 458, and served as past worthy matron.

Survivors: Sons, John T. Mohr, III, Thomas H. Mohr, and James D. Mohr, pre-deceased daughter, Cynthia L. Mohr, grandsons, John T. Mohr IV, Micah Mohr, Ben Marks, granddaughter, Stephanie Mohr-Derr, great grandchildren, Zachary Mohr, Abby Derr & Bryce Marks, sisters, Christine Urbin of Fort Plain, NY, Eileen Adickes of Macedonia, IA, brother, Howard Althouse of Gardnerville, NV, cousin, Richard Wert, niece, Christl-Nicholas Zaccagnino.

Funeral Services: 10:00am, Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Ebenezer UCC Church, 7293 Decatur St., New Tripoli, PA 18066.

Calling hours: 6 to 8:00pm, Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington. Interment to follow funeral service on Thursday at Ebenezer Union Cemetery, New Tripoli.
