Lorraine J. Confer, 86, of Slatington passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010 in Mahoning Valley Nursing Home, Lehighton. She was the wife of the late William P. Confer who passed away in 2009. Born in Jim Thorpe, she was the daughter of the late John & Rose (Linedecker) Searfoss.

Survivors: Sons, James & wife Carol Snyder and Peter & wife Carol Snyder, all of Lehighton, daughters, Dawn & husband Christopher Johnson and Susan & husband James Hoffman all of Allentown, ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren. Lorraine was predeceased by 13 brothers and sisters.

Memorial Services: 11:00am, Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington.
