Lottie Strohl

Lottie L. Strohl, 92, of Hurst, Texas, formerly of Slatington, passed away April 15, 2009 in Baylor Regional Medical Center, Grapevine, Texas. She was the wife of the late Nolan Strohl. Born in Jim Thorpe, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rohama (Whiteman) Shuck. Lottie was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Slatington. She was a lifetime member of the Diamond Fire Company Auxiliary, Walnutport. Survivors: Daughter, Doris and her husband, William Snyder, of Hurst; sister, Emma Kidd of Slatington; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. Lottie was predeceased by sons, Howard and Charles Strohl. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, April 23, 2009 in Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington. Calling hour 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Johns Lutheran Church Renovation Fund, c/o the funeral home.
