Lucille Kuntz

Lucille L. ‘Reds” Kuntz, three weeks shy of 87, died Thursday January 26, 2017 in the Lutheran Home at Topton. Born in Bethlehem, February 14, 1930, she was the wife of the late Luke G. Kuntz (deceased 2005) and the daughter of the late Paul W. and Ellen L. (Gable) Fatzinger. Having spent much of her life in Walnutport, she attended Slatington High School and worked in several local mills. She was an avid reader. Her dream for retirement was to read her vast collection of books. Along with her husband, parents, siblings, relatives and friends, the many dogs and cats with whom she, an animal lover her whole,life, shared her home, will be waiting to greet her on the other side.
Survivors: Sons; Bill and wife Sandy Hambrecht of New Egypt, NJ, Dan and wife Nancy Burns of Hamilton, NJ, Donald and wife Elizabeth of Walnutport, David of Walnutport, and Michael of Bethlehem. Daughter; Kathy S. and husband John Wagner of Allentown. Grandchildren; Ellen and Stephen. Great Grandchild; Remi. She was predeceased by her sister Jean Yehl and brothers Dalton and Donald Fatzinger.
Services: 11am Thursday February 2, 2017 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington. Calling hour 10-11am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery, Slatington.
