Margaret L. Bachman

Margaret L. Bachman, 80, formerly of Slatington, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.   She was the wife of the late Robert B. Bachman, who passed away in 2015.   Born in Allentown on May 7, 1942, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Annie Jane (Snyder) Clauser.   Margaret was a day care aid for many years, having worked for Hill Street Day Care and Teddy Bear Day Care.   She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Slatington.  Margaret enjoyed dancing, listening to country music, summer vacations and days at the beach in Wildwood, and spending time with her family.
She will be lovingly remembered by a daughter: Sheila A. Krempasky and fiancé Scott Klinger of Palmerton; son: Brian W. Bachman and wife Cherie of Lehighton; grandchildren: Alyssa, Kyle, and Colton.   She was pre-deceased by siblings, Roland and Louis Clauser, Althea Schaeffer, Lorraine Snyder, Dorothy German.
A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Union Cemetery, PA Rte 873, Slatington.  No Calling hours.  Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, c/o the funeral home.
